Walking on campus today it became painfully aware how easy it was to spot first year undergraduates and their adolescent-like composure. I can proudly say I never screamed profanities (even though I believe they were in a joking manner) across a college quad. Seriously, what motivates people to act in such a way?
With that idea, feeling old feels pretty good. It's interesting to have a different viewpoint on classes and what they offer you as a student. On the graduate level, it's very refreshing to know the skills and concepts I'll be learning will be directly applicable in my future. So long the days of gen-ed requirements!
