Yes, I'm Alive!

I know I only have a measly six official followers, but my family has been asking when I'm going to update the blog. My apologies to all.

I'll have to spread out the updates because a lot of awesome things have happened during my blogging absence, but I'll start with I'M DONE WITH MY FIRST YEAR OF GRADUATE SCHOOL!

I'm currently in the lag-time between the end of school and the beginning of my internship. I won't disclose internship details on here, but I'm really excited for the opportunity and am thrilled to be exploring a different city.

On a side note, what does everyone think of the new blog design?

My Favorite Part of Campus (thus far)

If you haven't seen them already, I've uploaded new photos of campus to my Flickr page. It's definitely a much smaller campus than I'm used to, but it's absolutely beautiful. Hands down my favorite place in town. Here's a glimpse of what I see on my walk to class:

The trees are HUGE! If you look closely, there's a few lampposts and a person on the sidewalk for comparison.

Here We Go...

After approximately 2,100 miles of driving west, I'm safe and sound in my new home for the next two years. It's going to take some getting used to, and some major usage of my GPS (thank you Mr. and Mrs. R), but I'm looking forward to the opportunities that await me here. 

I'm not sure how often I will post, but I hope to do so habitually. Those of you who know me quite well are aware that I'm very critical with my writing (my college housemate can attest to my ridiculous editing). My goal for this blog however, is to make it a healthy mix of colloquial and readable. 

So, after this short introduction, stay tuned for the next update. I hope my ramblings on life and all of its in-betweens keep you reading!
